Portrait of a Young Man as The Artist
Watch out. They spit.

Watch Out. They Spit.
Exposure: 1/500
Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 105 mm
ISO Speed: 100

Cross-processed in Aperture. I tried very hard not to make it as green as I usually do. This is more representative of actual cross processing results given the light and colors present. Well.. maybe a little less yellow that it should be but who's counting.
Well, I know you are because you like to be snarky.

Fuzzy camels!

Re: madd humps

I do too but I liked this a little more than a greener photo because they're fuzzy and there's snow. Blue is colder!

Interesting note, as I was looking at the photo and admiring the detail, it came to me that the cross processing (or something, I admit to ignorance here) made the picture look flat and 2 dimensional rather then a 3 dimensional image. An interesting effect, and unintentional?

I'd have to check the original but I bet it has more to do with the depth of field created by the larger aperture and long focal length. Most of everything in frame has the same level of focus.

Nah, if I wanted to be snarky, I'd ask about the DOF being so wide that you end up losing focus on the subject in the composition conjoined with the underexposure. See, that would be mean. ;D

As it stands, the contrast keeps the subject in focus and that's what matters.

My god, I've geeked out too far into this world of photography, there really is no coming back for me.

Someone should have stopped by and said hi when they were at the Zoo. I'm literally two blocks down the street.

Oh. Uhh... oops.

Well then! 1315 Drake St. #4, willing provider of tea and hot cocoa after cold zoo visits. :)
