Nope, no OS restriction, at least not with XP 64. Can't talk about Windows 2003 Server, haven't used it. XP 64 bit will show you as much ram as your BIOS lets it. I've run XP 64 bit with 32 gigs of RAM, and been able to see and address all of it. I've also run it with 4 gigs, and had it only see (and address) 3.5 of them. If you have XP 64 and aren't seeing all your ram, blame your BIOS, and see if there's an update for it (or an option to switch between 32 and 64 bit addressing). And it's the BIOS that has the 3.25-4.0 GB space reserved, which yes, people do need. You have an AGP/PCI X video card? Your processor is addressing it in that range. You have any PCI cards slotted? Your processor is addressing it in that range.
