except for all the bacon and sausage, that looks awesome. The decoration and layers really make it say "I AM CAKE".

Personally I enjoy breakfast bars a lot -- basically a chewy granola bar with lots of dried fruit & milk powder, whey protein, wheat germ, etc as protein ingredients.

I would have put more bacon on top.

oh god - except for the bisquick it sounds delicious. and honestly
even with the bisquick, it looks fabulous!

There is never reason to use Bisquick. biscuits are too easy to cheat.

Damn it.

Now I'm going to have to throw some sort of Saturday/Sunday brunch party thing and try all these interesting and fun things.

I am both repulsed and impressed.

YUM.

I think it's the gravy that worries me. would it be cold? Because cold gravy wouldn't be that great. But if it were warm that would kind of sell the whole thing.

They should have added potatoes.

Mashed 'taters instead of gravy would work.

HOWEVER! I think sawmill gravy is just fine cold. :)

Cold mashed potatoes are awesome. I would prefer that. Someday when I make this I'll have to substitute.

I don't know if I've ever actually eaten sawmill gravy.

Breathtaking.
I find something whimsical and enchanting about the phrase "Whisk briskly".
abmann From: abmann Date: June 4th, 2008 07:29 pm (UTC) (Link)
Briskly whisk brisk whiskey.
world_rim_walke From: world_rim_walke Date: June 4th, 2008 07:12 pm (UTC) (Link)
That is utterly, utterly wrong.
