Well crap.
The guy who made my Bag of Awesome expanded his product line.
Duffles. Satchels. backpacks.

Oh dear. I bet the satchel could hold my oft-used lenses.
Oh man....

made my Bog of awesome. is that sleppled right... cause seriously, that sounds awefully similar to a bag of holding, only messier!

What? You don't like my Bog of Awesome? It is way better than those Eternal Stench bogs you hear so much about.

New glasses and new iPhone first.

it would be great for photogs like us who keep cameras out all the time any way. :)

Maybe that will be my birthday gift to myself. Or the 105mm VR macro lens which I'm told is great for portaits too. Mmm. Lenses.

I agree it is nice, but:

-leather does not hold back fungus issues
-I've had a history of leather staining my clothes from dampness and this looks like a good candidate of doing the same
-definitely too small for my usage, it would end up getting me chided for wearing a "manpurse" instead of a manly satchel.

Edit: Whoops, I flew over some stuff. If it really is well-made waterproof, then maybe you won't have stain issues. The picture fooled me into thinking it was much softer! Maybe it will do you good. But you still gotta find a fedora that works for you.

edit: okay, the satchels AND the pouches. satchel in black, pouch in chestnut. or maybe both in chestnut. maybe if i win the lottery...

or you could try selling off all your other bags for a down-payment ^_^

Na. All she has to sell is half the rubies she bought.

i do have about a strand and a half left... though at $120/strand, wouldn't i have to sell both and still have to scrape together a bit more to afford the satchel?

they're really beautiful, though.

mind if i play abotu with yours sometime? i really prefer to see these thigns before i buy them, especially if i'm going to spend that sort of money on them...

You want to see my current bag or this nebulous potential future bag?
alyska From: alyska Date: June 3rd, 2008 07:59 pm (UTC) (Link)
yes, please. *grins*
alyska From: alyska Date: June 3rd, 2008 07:50 pm (UTC) (Link)
this is true, though they're probably not worth all that much.

sorting through clothes, bags, and beads are among my "adoption sale" project lists.

care to help scan beads for me sometime? i've already filled one box of things...

(maybe i can work on that tonight.)

The satchels are reasonably priced! That's only one certification bonus post-taxes!
alyska From: alyska Date: June 3rd, 2008 07:47 pm (UTC) (Link)
are you offering me your next certification bonus? cool! thank you!

should i get the pouch or the satchel first?
