Suck you good.
Anyone know anything about vacuum robots? I'm think I would like one. With three cats and 4 scratching posts, we have dander and debris constantly and I dislike needing to vacuum every two days. Maybe a roomba-type thinger would be awesometoast?

I like my roomba! It's a scheduler, so it can run when I am away at work. I hardly use it now since i never bothered to get my cords under control off of the floor and I have hardwood (and until a week ago had a rug with tassles that it got caught up on)...
With that many cats, though, I wonder how often you'd have to replace the filter?

It's really smart, though.

Which one do you have?

My acquaintance sekhmetdancing loves hers. Perhaps she can write to you about it if you ask her.

Roomba is the cheese for my macaroni. You will *heart* it.

Have you one? Is it as smart as they say?

But wouldn't awesometoast make MORE of a crumbly mess???

Awesometoast is made from the exothermic reaction of Amazinganium and Coolmium under a vacuum. The formula looks like this:
3Am + 2Co -> At

That's three quantities of Amazinganium per 2 quantities of Coolmium to create a single quantity of Amazingtoast.

The best thing about Amazingtoast is that it is highly stable in nature. After creation of the macromolecule, it under goes a series of natural reactions in the air to create a complex but stable aromatic chain molecule.

Let me demonstrate:

So, as you can see it would take quite a bit of work to destabilize, or cause to "crumble" as you sat, said molecule.

Roomba love

I don't know how many Rommba's a gal needs; I know I have three. They rock. Actually they do a mildly good job; I hate vaccuuming that much. There it is; that's my truth.
They are smart except for the one I had that tried to throw itself down the stairs. OK it was more depressed than smart I guess but what can you do. I could have taken it back but waited so long I just decided to keep that one in basement. The other two I have didn't have that issue.
You do have to pick up the floor first and if that's your barrier to vaccuuming then the Rommba will save you not. I keep my floors pretty well picked up at all times so I just move a few chairs out of its way and let it rip. I don't have to move the chairs; it has a plan for working all that out.
I would think the big apeal with your situation would be slapping a cat toy to the top and letting it go. I hope you try it. My cat was largely un interested in Roomba and on many occasions watched it zoom on right past him; once or twice over his tail. Nothing to him.
Anywho; good luck.

Re: Roomba love

This one can pick up nuts and wood, I'm sure it can end your cat problem once and for all. Baring that, there seems to be a line of robots with militaristic capabilities.

On second thought, buy this one!

I mean, you've been complaining for years about hidden gunmen.

True. but can that robot actually snipe for me? I'm lazy too.

I've heard noting but good things from friends that have them. I want one, and also a SCOOBA, which is for tile/linoleum floors.

But, you know, don't spend your economic stimulus money on one! :P

You should totally attatch a mousie on a string behind it so it can entertain the cats as it cleans.
