Woo!
Done! Up! Running!
ABMann.net!

iWeb does some really annoying things, like change EVERYTHING into images and semi-DHTML code. I had to fix stacking issues so all the links were accessible which necessitated a series of redesigns in the links. :)

I think I need to switch to Flash.
But... but!
Yay!
ABMann.net!
Mine, all mine.

Yeah, all the png files are super annoying. Takes forever to load on a slow connection. and no reason not to stick with jpg, other then proprietary I suppose. Ugh!

Proprietary? PNG is proprietary?

Also, PNG in general is better than JPG for websites though because they preserve transparencies. :)

'Course if iWeb left certain objects as TEXT then only my actual photos would need the be PNGs which would be fine.

Yeah. iWeb is very silly in tis instance. not much I could do without sitting down and hand writing code. Ease was key in this instance, just getting the darn thing up finally.

I think it looks really sharp, too. Well done! I particularly like the front page of architecture and street.

The load speed it fine for me, though, and I have slow factory connection.

That's good to hear. it's a touch slow for my taste; but i suspect comparable to load time for any flash-based site.
