Hooray! - Portrait of a Young Man as The Artist — LiveJournal
My credit card was attacked! 5 identical charges of 420.95 in quick succession. What fun!

Chase didn't authorize them but it did make my Apple order stall.

Hold for.... 25:03 currently.
Update: Apparently the "attack" was Apple breaking the order into weird incremembts. Chase saw them come through really early on a big shopping day and held them thinking it was potentially theft.

Suddenly, I'm rather liking my credit provider.

I've got an idea why Apple broke up the order. Some cards refuse to authorize individual charges over $500, so Apple tried to do you a favor.

Actually, since I ordered during their Black Friday sale I got free super shipping on everything. They're sending all the pieces separately as they are ready. So, the iPhone was the 420 charge. Etc. :)

that is pretty awesome really. I mean bad in the sense that you might have to wait for your stuff longer, but VERY cool that you know they look ot for weird stuff like that so you don't get screwed.

My thoughts precisely. I'd MUCH rather they work like this than let it through and wait for me to catch it. yay online shopping safety!

Way to go Chase! Good credit protection is priceless.
