The Piecemeal Man

  • Mood:

The unending process
of conviction leading
to object - that image
of mind that never existed
until it seeded
you mind with delusions of grandeur -
is timeless in the way
people describe afterlife.

The sands broke
from the hourglass;
it drowned the people
in its exodus by boats
paid in copper.

What can end, call forcefully
that a line is drawn
in the sand, so easily?
Conviction even in the weakest of us,
is unending and tirelessly devoted,
unmending the fabrics of creativity
one yarn at a time.

Working a tapestry
we can finish an edge
but there is always more
story to tell
in the threads woven
by man.
