Goals - Portrait of a Young Man as The Artist — LiveJournal
When searching,
one must always seek
that which is apparent.
Othewise the existence
of the object
shall always be unknown.
The Lost can never
be found but on the edge
of a monofiliment blade.

Diminishing expectation
return fuller endings
where success
is mitigated
by the lack
of an expected

Goals that taper,
like pyramids shaved
by glaciers,
will be reached sooner
than building up, and up, and up
into the sky. We cannot overwhelm
God, whose throne
is infinitely more phallic
than anything we can conceive.

Up there
do we fall as hard
as Babel.
