1. What is this research project of Doom, and why hasn't it been done before?

Uh ok.. Anyone that reads this cannot participate then since you'll probably be my subjects next semester.

So... People have relationships and some last and some do not. Now, we all know that temperament, behaviors and the general psyche can add or detract from the length and depth of said relationships. What we don't know is whether there is a biological/genetic attraction to certain sensory traits in those with whom we relate (Me love you long time). That is, there is a genetic basis for smell that suggests we are attracted to those that are different from us in genotype insofar as to create lasting dominant genetic traits and minimize mutation.

Furthermore, this genetic basis may or may not affect the duration and satisfaction of a relationship. As well, what bout the other senses? Through studies done by Zuckerman (I think in the 80's) we learned that a waist-to-hip ratio of .7 was attractive in many races, a visual cue of sexual maturity and good maternal-ism.

The question we are raising is whether Sight, smell, sound (vocal quality etc) touch and taste have a role in determining whether or not two people are satisfied n a relationship. The beauty of this as well is that since this sensations are (mostly) universally experienced we can test all genders and all sexualities as has never been done before.

So, people have done some work but nothing that incorporates everything together.

And it's not really Doom, per se. Just means lotsa library time when the weather is pretty and I could be reading cyberpunk.

2. Out of the myriad White Wolf games, which one is your favorite and why?

Hard to say. Exalted rocks my masculine urge to main and destroy, but the story is a little to dull and I'm not really interested with all the meta-plot. Especially since they fucking linked it with the fucking WOD.

So, Mummy has to be the top game because I haven't played or run what yet so my opinions are still lofty and ideal. I love the concept and all the metaplot in it but it's just hard to get more than one mummy in a single city without some serious shit going down.

3. What's one thing you've always wanted to do, but never have?

Deep sea diving. The ocean is beautiful and fish are really gorgeous. I'd love to go diving in the Great Coral Reef. Or just start walking. I'd really love to travel the US on foot, camping, occasionlly grab a plan at one end of the continent and walk around another continent. That would be so amazing.

4. Given the insanity of last semester, do you think next year will be better, worse, or about the same? Why?

It will never get better. Bsffa will always be a social club run by would-be dictators or super slackers and populated by over sensitive layabouts that want everything and give nothing. Is that what you meant?

5. Monkeys?

I shall quote from The Book of The Cart-Monkey....

"2 Cart-Monkey 5:11
11 And the Monkey was with us; and we did prosper exceedingly; for
we did sow seed, and we did reap again in abundance. And we
began to carve, and sew f Cart-Monkeys of every kind."

6. Could you elaborate on the response to #4?

I already did. What, run out of good questions?
