Sigh. I'm actually excited about working hard. I know, I know. It's freaky but when it gets close to deadlines, I feel this mad rush of... something and I work and work and work. Maybe it's responsibility. Maybe it's dedication.

As much as I hate to say this, it's exactly how I envision the feeling a has PC after the willpower restoration from satisfying their nature.

And screw the lot of you that snickered when you read "willpower."

That's a really cool picture.
I'd comment more, but I gotta say I'm not really sure what you're talking about.

I'm a gamer geek. In my preferred RPG you assign characters a nature, like Architect or Monster or Martyr. When you do something really important that aligns with your nature you get a point of willpower. Willpower is the same as in reality, our drive to do something, bt quantified into little quanta because it's a game. :)

So, when I get near deadlines my drive to work hard to reach a goal kicks in. It refreshes me.

I like the picture too. :) Photoshop ninja.

Ahhh. Yes, I remember gaming. Broke up a lot of relationships in my circle of friends in my early 20's. I remember going to hang out with my friend Jenny, and I walk into a house of her bored, and her boyfriend, and two friends all at their own computer in the house, having not showered for days, living off of beer, mountian dew and junk food. The house was hot from the computers and the stench was terrible.

They broke up.

You don't want that to be you one day now do you?

Hey, some of us like computers and mountain dew...and...um...smelling bad...and being lazy...

Well to be honest, I just like being lazy (that's actually closer to a lie than the rest of those things, which are a farse) since mountain dew is kinda gross.

I do like computers.

Will should get fat.

I never know what he's talking about, but I just shoot my mouth off anyways. You should try that, plus he likes being insulted and called a "sloppy seabass fire crotch".

Only while you're taking off your pants.

[laugh] well I think I did insult him, but not as creatively. But I will try that sometime.

The guy i buy chemicals from is named Will Fogel. His website is called Will Powder.

I feel that way all the time about my job. It's why I love Friday/Saturday nights. It's like going getting charged up to go into battle. Nothing like that feeling in the world.

I wish I could do this outside of deadlines. but if it isn't looming, which I define as less than two weeks away, I find it hard to work long hours to get stuff done.

Right. It's why my job is great. There's no two ways about it, at 5:30 you have to deal with a diningroom full of people, all hungry, and with knives and forks. No way around it, no excuses, just do it!

BTW, a few more comments and your title becomes interestingly true.
