The Piecemeal Man

  • Mood:

The slenderizing of beauty,
from plump roots
that no man could turn away,
is a travesty of social mores.
If I can blow, like the mighty wolf
and disrupt the house of cards
of you, you are not pretty.
For a woman shaped like a stick
is no woman of mine.
Those vivacious breasts
to luscious hips are worth
a thousand Calista's and Kate's.
It is art that we evolve to endure
but a step away to become
a tree without fertility. The future
is bleak and disheartening
when the curve of curvilinear
is retracted to null space.
