A few people are interested ion the art how I linked last night. I was planing on having lunch before hand and there seems to be interest in that too.

Places people would like?
I've been having Greek cravings so The Parthenon or The Saz would be good for me. :)
Comment if you want to go to the show and/or get lunch.
So far it may be me, nidea, claw_machine and a friend from work.

So... is it terrible to invest in a company that I know will see increasing profits over the next few years even if I completely disagree with everything for which they stand and do?

We meet (used to be monthly, lately it's been any month we're all not busy) to discuss/review our projects and give support and feedback.

Mediterranean Cafe is a favorite of mine. The Saz is fine too.

Noon or shortly thereafter would work for me.

This is on Sunday, yes? I'll miss the speaker, as I have band practice at 3, but lunch and a quick peek at the art would be loverly.

Yup yup. I responded to your earlier comment 'bout that. It looks like lunch around noon on State then gallery afterwards. No one has made mention about staying for the speaker yet but that's of no concern since we'll all just be meeting somewhere.

To say something about your ethical question...

In a capitalist society, the best way to support a company, individual, or ethic is with your money. If you invest in them, you are functionally (and on the record) saying that you wholeheartedly agree with them to the point that you'd trust them with a portion of your estate: your financial future.

So is the money worth it? I'd say no. There are other, more ethically sound investments which -- while not as lucrative -- are also financially sound and would definitely get you more money than if you hadn't invested at all.

Of course, since I'm not a finance wizard, you can't take my opinion as a reccomendation for any one stock over another. So please don't sue me if you lose all of your money. :P

I've seen a version of the ED Musical about 2 years ago.
It varies from city to city.
I saw it in Chicago. :)
