Legislators - Portrait of a Young Man as The Artist — LiveJournal

People set

I finally made some prints today. One test poster size for fencert and one for lady_fox's mother. It's good to finally get the first ones done, get over the fear of printing crap. It's an INTJ thing; I don't like doing things I don't understand fully (like up-sizing photos). We'll see what happens.

Tasks for tomorrow include purchasing portfolio materials. I've found an art supply store nearby that I'll try.

Gettin' closer.

I should write on the art show I went to Friday and artists' apparent misunderstanding of their location. But I'm tired and it would come out really snobby (as opposed to moderately snobby).

Photo: More of the congress. I like black and white.

I realize I do it to some degree but can't get past that initial impulse. This is why lady_fox is good for me. She is moderately more impulsive regarding things like tis and kicks my ass past the threshold. :)

It's also a CS-major thing, I've noticed.

INTP, but you already knew that.

I love how the framing, composition, and content (including a nice/lucky capture of the woman's pose) of the shot makes it look like a church at first glance -- at least to me. It's only after a second look that I realized it was something else, and the title finally put it into full context (which is a nice touch as far as titling goes).

I really like this picture.

Yea, the candle and strong bick in the backgroud scream church. But much of Madison's Capitol building does. It's made almost entirely out of stone.
