I'm really, really sad that I botched the focus on this on. I was under a desk with the viewfinder obscured. One time shot. She was cuddling with a little bear I rescued from Beloit's trash cans on move out day five years ago. I was able to clean it up some but I couldn't get it as sharp as I want.

Anyone know any really good sharpening tools out there?

Unfortunately, there's not much you can do about lens blur. The information just isn't there. This is the best I could do in under 30 minutes in Photoshop CS2 just so you can see whether or not you think it's worthwhile. It could probably get better with a bit of manual touch-up loving.

Forgive my crappy host. You'll notice that the image kinda looks a bit fake. I think this is because I may have gone a little overboard on the wall, so there's a disparity in noise between the wall and the cat.

tools used:
smart sharpen, smart blur, reduce noise, dust and scratches, tiny bit o water drop.

I could probably get the same result from Matlab too, but I figured you'd already have Photoshop.

Woops. I didn't even notice that extra border. That could easily be fixed, obviously.

Yeah. I may try and do it manually with a sharpen brush in potochop. Sadness. I liked this shot. I'll have to try to get it again.
