When we got there, no one was talking about the clouds. Everyone was filing to their seat. The music hall was less a music hall and more the announcement room from 1984 with huge plasma screen TVs. Our seats were off to one side such that we had to turn around in our chairs to see the screen. I got annoyed and said we should find better seats. No one agreed; I got angry and walked off. I ran into another QAer sitting in a better seat and joined him. Lights went out and I fell asleep. Lights up and people were leaving. I tried to find my group to no avail. Curious about the state of the clouds, I went to the balcony that overlooked the city (it was the same view as in the end of Fight Club). The city was pretty well beat up; detritus everywhere; cars overturned and smashed; holes in the street; broken highways, etc. The sun was rising and the clouds began to thaw. The tendrils fell apart and destroyed more of the city. I took off to my car, found everyone else and tried to drive off. As we got in the car I said, "Is this proof enough about global warming?" and woke up.
Odd stuff but something on my mind as of late. This is the third weather related dream in a few weeks. Disconcerting especially when following the news.
A lot. Back pain gave way to headache though the headache went away with ibuprofen later that evening. There was much carb eating and Project Runway watching. That was nice but I feel kind of crappy for it today.
Vaguely worried about my diet and slackened exercise schedule as of late. I haven't been working quite as hard as I should be, burning probably half as many calories on the treadmill/standing cycle. I tried to add more machine work to it, adding weight, but I don't think I'm working hard enough. Feeling fat and sloppy.
Electra is built like a linebacker. She doesn't have a neck when kitty-loaf'ed. This image emphasizes that lack. Here eyes are mostly yellow but they came out blue-green after adjusting the contrast etc.
