Promising
Joy Cardin took a straw poll regarding Wisconsin's upcoming vote to ban gay marriage. (AJR 67) The results were promising were the resolution to go to the public for vote, 45 against the ban and 14 for. I do understand, though, that the NPR listening audience may be skewed to the left.

I'll link to the show archive when it is posted.
Listen to the show RealPlayer file.

And now, a kitten in a tissue box.

Girl Scout cookies are in. I forgot I ordered so many boxes....

Edit:Live feeds to Wisconsin General Assembly. See tabs along top of page.

NPR's audiance may be skewed to the left in the same way that fox news may be skewed to the right.

You're probably in luck. Wisconsin has some interesting voting patterns, that tend to turn solely on Milkwaukee, Dane, Racine, Brown, Outagamie, Rock, and Kenosha counties. Of those, I think it's Brown, Outagmie, and Racine that consistantly go red. Really, the interesting votes always go down in Milwaukee because it's roughly four times bigger than your second biggest voting district based on poll turn out. Though WI, like every other state, gets drawn into the city v. rural political split in its voting patterns, so Milwaukee will most likely vote against the ban.

Really, the questions become "how much do farms hate disapprove of gays?" and "how appathetic is the city-based voting public feeling towards actually getting out to the polls?"

True day, yo. In Madison at least the issue is pretty hot. Hope Hope Hope.
If the ban wins, I'm going to beat up a farmer.

You should beat up a farmer anyways.

They've had it coming ever since daylight savings time.

Those dirt and smog farmers in Arizona and Indiana got it right. I should be careful not to beat an AZ or IN farmer.

Not really. It's going to be a mess adn they'll probably not get to the debate or vote before we usually go to bed.
