Already so addicted...

Not surprising.

I've been forgetting to eat, go to sleep, etc.

Well, I've got a few days of fat left in me. You may disappear tomorrow!

Fox had to come tell me it was bed time last night. I would have kept playing. I'd just started a religious war in my own culture, man! Taoism of Confucianism? WHO WILL WIN THE PRIZE?

Fortunately, I'm booked solid for 2 days and food will be involved.

I might perish next week, though.

Nice knowing you.

Tool tray programs were making constantly minizime, not render. Odd, but killing all the little programs made it run.

Now, if Sid Meier could just make an FMV that wasn't choppy...

Hot

Tell me how it is: Always interested to hear what their doing with the franchise.
Especially since I wasn't fan of Civ III...

Dear Civ 4,

Upon review of your installation, I wanted to touch base with you regarding our prior conversations re: time alottment of The Player and withheld hours of activity. Per our discussions, the hours of 1800 to 2000 CST every Sunday evening have been formerly allocated to other activities and hence, will be refered to as "Civ 4 blackout hours." Please let me remind you that, during these non-negotiable hours, you are forbidden from having any contact with The Player, attempting to initiate contact with The Player and entering within a 25 foot radius of The Player. Violations of this notice may result in uninstallation and or destruction of your original media.

Thank you for your time. Please contact me with any questions you may have about your understanding of our agreement.

Sincerely,

Don't worry. I'm fully aware that the ladies come first.

To The Firm of Hallbrook, Faerber, Winborne and Citation:

Our firm has been retained by Civ IV to represent his interests and in response to the series of harassing and defamatory notices you have been sending our Client. These notices are completely unwarranted, and the record shows no affirmative pattern of behavior to engage Player in any manner. Player has consistently come to our client for services, despite our client's initial attempts to rebuff Player's advances. Our client deserves no blame for interactions which where clearly solicited at Player's request and were to Player's benefit. We would like to resolve this situation amicably, but if this unwarranted harassment continues we will be forced to seek a cease and desist order and any other sanctions necessary to protect our Client's rights under law.

Sincerely,
Dewey, Cheetum & Howe, LLC

I see you like King's Quest. Have you heard of the fan-made sequel, KQIX: Every Cloak Has a Silver Lining? The first part of the game was to be released this winter. Anyway, Vivendi, the company that now owns the Sierra rights, sent Phoenix Online (the group making the sequel) a cease and desist order. A group of fans who were awaiting the release has come together and formed SaveKQIX. Our website is www.savekqix.org. Please visit and see what you can do to help save the game. It'll take about two minutes. Also, if you could post an entry in your LJ to help get the word out, we would be appreciative.

Thanks,
Cat
