Portrait of a Young Man as The Artist
We have 5.... thousand.

My creativity is flowing into comics. I'm kinda sad, what with having created some very nifty art recently. Eh, I'm making something I guess.

The wind is blowing so hard that the screen on my balcony is whistling. The drive tomorrow is going to suck hardcore. I'm trying not to think apocalyptic because in matters of that, I'm quite good at putting myself in a panic.

From Aqua Teen Hunger Force.

They are the Mooninites.
Episode descriptions in which they appear:
104. Mayhem of the Mooninites

2-bit aliens from the moon land on Earth and begin to harass the neighborhood. They take Meatwad under their wing and get him into all sorts of trouble.

203. Mooninites Revenge

The half-witted sprites return to cause more mayhem. Earning a magical belt that gives them superpowers based on hit singles of 70s rock group Foreigner, the two finally are a force to be reckoned with. But Carl is an even greater force that deserves all reckoning.

They're the funniest villains in the show, easily.

Mooninites are the best, I agree.

The metacognition stuff is what I started thinking about when Burrows came and talked to the CS class I was in last semester. Except I was thinking of it from the CS side of things. Basically overlaying different associative data structures on the items of information in a set. Whee!

Burrows was that boring, huh? :)

He is... but he was really good. I'm sad they fired him.

I shall have to come back and read this when I have more ability to read over it.

I didn't not realize that you held a pysch degree. Doing anything with it?

Yes, sort of. I work for Epic Systems in Madison. So first and foremost, no; I'm a software tester. BUT I am also a usability advocate as a secondary position. THat's HCI - human computer interface. Indystrial psyche. It's not what I studied with any thoroughness, but it's cool stuff.

So is Psych your only degree? What do you want to do? I haven't studied any industrial psych... not my thing... at all. But then... I don't really know what it is... oh well.

I've got dual degrees in Psych and Creative writing.

What do I want to do? I'd like to sell my art and live on that, but it's not going to practicale for quite some time if at all.

Eventually, I want to get my doctorate in neural systems.... at the moment at least. That may change in the future, as I really like my current job.

Now rap yourself around that rack of DVDs
and smoke while you are doing it.

I hope you can see this because I'm doing it as hard as I can.
