I think I'd call this one "Random acts of kindness."

Estimated time to complete: 1.25 hours. And there are 18 objects in billy. :) Rok. Speed comics!

Another limerick.

A go-go lap dancer, a pip,
She was able to peel in a zip.
  But she read science fiction,
  And died of constriction,
Attempting a Mobius strip.

To bed! AWAY!

Current Mood: tired tired

The second line of your limerick is great on its own. And the punchline rocks. The first line, though, throws me off rhythmically.

Then again, I actually laughed, so a small rhythm thing like that means next to nothing. :)

And Fox is not alone when it comes to hating mornings. :(

Yeah, I hate the cadence of line one too. Not sure how to fix it. :(

Which certifications are you taking?
abmann From: abmann Date: January 13th, 2005 01:43 pm (UTC) (Link)
Non standard MS. It's internal certification on our applications.
questingfalcon From: questingfalcon Date: January 13th, 2005 02:48 pm (UTC) (Link)
Cool, so company-specific stuff? Plan on taking any general certs (MCSD, CCNA, etc)?
abmann From: abmann Date: January 13th, 2005 03:11 pm (UTC) (Link)
Hadn't thought of it. I don't think I'll ever need it here. The only stuff I use that isn't made by our companty is... uh.. Firefox and Outlook.

I may get into Winrunner eventually for automated testing, but Epic teaches us everything we need to know about anything we do. It's great - makes sure we're all on the same page.

However, were I to want outside certifications, Epic would pay for it. :)

Firefox, eh? I use Opera... I downloaded firefox, but it doesn't have mouse gestures, which immediately turned me off. However, I didn't really give it much of a chance, and I hear really good things from "those who know", so tell me what all the buzz is about.
abmann From: abmann Date: January 13th, 2005 04:51 pm (UTC) (Link)
Yes it does. You can download extensions like gestures. It's very versatile and much prettier. Go to the website and poke through the extensions and themes.

That rocks. Why don't you try taking a few MS exams if you've got the time? They're not that hard, it looks good on the resume, it's free (lucky bum), and the .NET platform is pretty decent.
