Portrait of a Young Man as The Artist
Emerald Rope
Emerald Rope

Dyed some rope today, two thirty foot lengths. I think I’m getting the process and the proportion of ingredients right. Thus batch ended up a touch spotty and I’m not sure why. The coils may have been too tight when going into the pot.

Otherwise, the color is lovely. More a Kelly green than Emerald but I’m splitting hairs.

Later this week I’ll by dying a companion set in orange.
