Empty Offices - Portrait of a Young Man as The Artist
Empty Offices

We have this office space that we’re slowly emptying out as people move to the new campus. Is it vaguely creepy in the day and I think, if I had light control, it would super creepy at night.

And I want to do a Photoshoot in it. I’m considering concepts and I thought some of you may have neat ideas.

So, what would you shoot in an empty cubicle farm?

I think it could be cool to set up a single workstation in an area where you could clearly see the neighbouring ones are empty. Personal very business-formally dressed with a single spotlight. It could be an impressively strong, lonely image.

I visited the abandoned wing of Panasonic's East Coast headquarters and I can sympathize with the feel of it.

With all that room, I'd be tempted to do photos of people hiding under desks, or maybe a zombie/omegaman thing.

Maybe a contrast of activity/conformity. Sports in cubicles. badminton/waterpolo between cubes, etc.

Something geometrical, based off the repetitive pattern of empty cubicles.
